Barcaldine
Opened in April 2025, the CUC Barcaldine is located in the RSL Building on Ash Street, with entry via the side laneway.
The Barcaldine hub features kitchen facilities, a large shared study room, an independent study room, and a common area. The facility is accessible via a ramp and includes accessible bathrooms.
The hub offers high-speed Wi-Fi, printing, scanning, and copying facilities, and a range of resources to support students throughout their study journey. The hub is accessible to registered students 24/7.
The hub is staffed approximately two days per week by the Barcaldine Hub Coordinator and Learning Support Advisor, Helen.

Helen supports students accessing the Barcaldine Country Universities Centre, helping them navigate online study, access facilities, and feel confident in their learning journey. She is approachable, knowledgeable, and committed to supporting students to succeed, no matter where they are studying from.
